First Stage Theater Classes at the Wilson Center

First Stage Theater Academy is in it's 31st year as the nation’s largest high-impact theater training program for young people. They offer classes emphasizing the process of becoming strong performers, creative thinkers, and confident young people, for students as young as age 4, up through high-school seniors. Professional theater artists share their expertise with students, fostering life skills through stage skills.  All theatre classes at the Wilson Center are taught by First Stage instructors. Whether you are an aspiring performer or just want to build confidence and make new friends, there is no better place than the Academy.

Story Drama: Super Stories! Unleash Your Inner Hero! *Sharon Lynne Wilson Center*

Through creative drama, young actors will bring their favorite stories to life through the exploration of setting, plot, and character choices to develop beginning acting skills.

Grades: K5-1

Playmakers: Minecraft Mastery Unlock Your Creative Blocks!

Young actors will go on a new adventure each week as they utilize improvisation techniques to create their own characters and stories, and further develop their beginning acting skills.

Grades: 1-2
