A rising star in the Milwaukee music scene, Peter Thomas is an acclaimed cellist with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, but is recognized, perhaps, even more notably as the “electric cellist” with I’m Not a Pilot. Winner of the Shepherd Express award for “Best Rock Band” in 2010 and 2011, this classically-infused indie rock band has been entertaining audiophiles since 2009 with music that is best described as something you’ve never heard before— it’s a cross between Electro Pop and Rock N’ Roll mixed with symphonic sounds and structure. Back this season by popular demand, this unique group also features Mark Glatzel on vocals/piano; Adrian Esguerra on bass; and Steve Vorass on drums.
